Dry gunning applies refractory material pneumatically with water added at the nozzle — ideal for rapid hot and cold repairs with high versatility. Wet mix shotcreting uses pre-damped material applied at high output with only 4–5% rebound, producing superior density, lower dust, and more consistent quality compared to gunning.
Robotic shotcreting is recommended for blast furnace, Corex, and other high-heat or confined-space applications where personnel safety is paramount. Our robotic pods remove workers from hazardous zones while delivering uniform thickness, 24/7 operation capability, and optimal compaction through consistent mechanical pressure.
